Hotel Moscow
The Moscow Hotel was under renovation when I shared this in 2011, scheduled to reopen in 2012.
Alexander Gardens are to the right. Panned right a bit from this photo.
User comments:
– Engels, Marx, Lenin. The banner below says: “Long live marxism-leninism” lol
– Funny – a 55 Ford behind the lady in white – not too different from the Volgas
– Great photo.
– Big, and perfect composition !!!
– nice photo from a different time. !
This photo was featured on the cover of the single Moscow by The Half Light.
User comments:
– The lady in red in the right corner makes it!
– Hotel Moskva on Revolution Square – I was there in 1989 – there was a good Spanish restaurant. Hard to believe it was demolished, and replaced with a modernized replica of the original!!
– from «Соло для слона с оркестром» (1975)
– so much space… not like today…
