Alki Hotel from Washington, c 1974. In 1934 a storm toppled the south wall. There were frequent suicides. Perhaps all of this negative energy focused through the lonely man in room 59. The Seattle Times recorded it for posterity, found during in inspection several years after the building was condemned.
Looking southwest from the parking lot near 6th and Washington toward the Alki Hotel in Seattle Washington.
Picked this up from an antique store. It originated from T.V. Dean Realtors, who were probably assessing the building before sale. Froom a proof sheet of photographs.
